Education Gallery Exhibition: INTO THE BEAUTIFUL NORTH - A Big Read Mural Project

This spring, as part of The Big Read, Grounds For Sculpture and the Hamilton Township Public Schools partnered to engage students in a project that brought literature and the visual arts together. Working with artist Karina Raude, students spent time discussing Luis Alberto Urrea’sInto the Beautiful North, learning about the history of Latin American muralism, and creating a mural exploring themes including identity, family, and community.
